Should I tell potential employers I plan to go to grad school?

I graduated from college last month after derailing my plans to go immediately into grad school this coming fall. I am now aiming to apply this fall/winter and start school in fall 2012 - should I tell potential employers that this is my (tentative yet fairly solid) plan? I don't want to mislead anyone, but I also don't want to be hurt in terms of getting a job by the fact that I may only be there for a year...

I sweat a lot. Even when i have a fan on, my air conditioner and even during the winter when its below 0 outside. Now that its summer, i sweat a lot more. I cant even wear t-shirts or light colours because of my armpit sweating! Ive used secret spray on deoderant, secret clear deoderant, lady speed stick, degree deoderant. Ive found nothing to help me. How do you det rid of toe cramps?

Ever since I was like 5 I've gotten cramps in my toes. Whenever they get squished the wrong way, fall asleep for too long (where you get that tingly feeling), are in high heels for too long, or really easily when I go swimming, just kicking my feet in the water, they will start cramping for about 5 seconds. Oh, also in the winter when they get too cold. I really hate it cause my best friend has a pool and I love swimming but my cramps stop me. And then whenever I get them I can't go back in the water cause I'll get more and they'll get more frequent. I hear it helps to drink a whole lot of milk or eat many many bananas. My cockatiel layed eggs in winter what do i do?

I am 14 years old and i have always wanted a Great Dane and do so much research on them . My neighbors have so many i can't count them all .... However they are getting older and they don't have enough money to take care of them all , as in they work for a Dane Rescue , but they are not a breeder , but the dogs have been breeding , breeding , breeding . They have so many females but only a few males . Two Females and one male live outside permanently . However they do tether a few others of them outside . The other live in the house . These Dogs are Aggressive and one of the Fawn Males has snapped on me before , He didn't really do that much damage but they have no fence so they do have a long tether and a large doghouse with a fan and winter heater for them . I love these dogs and only want the best for them . I help them take really good care of the dogs none of them are underfed nor have any of them missed their shots . But , they cannot afford spay and neuter . The Black female and Fawn Male had a Solid white Puppy ( REALLY BAD IN DANE TERMS BECAUSE OF POOR BREEDING ) I kept this puppy as they agreed to get shots for her and they supposedly took her for all of her puppy shots about three times . The rest they put an ad in the paper and gave them away for free . The only reason they did that is because i help them .So about a week ago she started Bloody diarrhea and died shortly after . I am really getting worried about the moms condition and i am considering taking her and the fawn male ( spaying and neutering them with my own money ) and keeping her at our house in the Yard and providing her with them shelter . I am not sure if ill be able to do it or not ( because of my mom ) she got angry with them about the puppy . I told her not to say anything though . I cannot report them to animal control , because most of the shelters in our area are full , and they can't take them , because they do have food , shelter and water . They are considering finding some of them homes . I really hope they do . Not to mention they have alot of smaller dogs inside with most of the danes that they keep inside . The inside of the home is not in bad condition either , they just have too many that they can't take care especially since the dogs keeps breeding and paying shots for the puppies . Persistent dry and itching skin?

Need help choosing a car?

O.K, so this is kind of a long story so I'm going to shorten it as much as possible. In January of 2011, I started babysitting for a friend of my best friend. The agreement was that she would pay me $40 for each day I babysat. After a while she stopped paying me promising that she would pay me later because something had came up. She owed me for two weeks before she went to Panama City and the two weeks after. So at $40 a day for 7 days would be $280 and $280 per week for the 4 weeks she didn't pay would be $1,120. At the end of the month my boyfriend encouraged me to stop babysitting for her which I did, she sent me messages cussing me out and accusing me of things I never did, and saying she doesn't owe me that much. I have babysat since I was 10 and have never cheated anyone. I told her that since I did quit without a notice to be fair I would take off the last week so all she would have to give me is $840, but she doesn't even want to do that. I told her that I had a Maurice's bill that I needed paid off so she gave me her debit card but I can't use the card because she won't give me the pin. So not only do I have a bill in my name that is now costing more because of late fees, I couldn't even take my mom to the hospital when she needed because I didn't have the gas to make it to where she lives because I would have been stranded. This girl has messed me up in so many ways and after all I've been through she still refuses to pay me and cusses at me when I ask for a little money. I made sure to provide her and her kids with everything they needed I would take her kids to the movies, out to eat, and to the fair all with MY money. She never gave me money to take her kids places, it all came out of my pocket. There were even times I let her use my car to drive to work cause she didn't have a car and she would never put gas in it. I dropped two of my college courses so I could accommodate her work schedule, and after a while she took advantage of me and started making me come an hour to two hours before she had to go to work and would stay close to 4 hours at the place she worked after they had closed down to spend time with her boyfriend. So I was babysitting 7 days a week from 4p.m. to about 5a.m. for a whole month with no pay, I have tried to be fair about the situation but she doesn't want to be. I have thought about take her to small claims court but in the state of Alabama you have to be 19 to file a claim and I am only 18 and by the time I turn 19 it will be too late. My question is, I still have her debit card how legal would it be to go to the store and run her card as credit and buy something for the amount she owes me ($840) and return it to get cash back? I have the text message where she gave me permission to use her card to pay my Maurice's bill but seeing how I can't because I don't have the pin or any bank information to, would it be legal to do that? I'm just trying to figure out what to do because she messed everything up for me so badly and I just feel like I don't deserve what she is doing to me after all that I have done for her and for her children. I'm sorry this is so long, but I just wanted to share the important details, please tell me what I can do because I feel so trapped :(

Fantasy football drafting advice...?

I won it all last year. First trading AP was a stupid idea. You could have solved 2 of the above answers just by keeping him, plus boosting your team talent. I had AP I think on my team. Second do NOT go with Ray Rice. Talentwise there are many other RBs in the league like AP and Chris Johnson. Consider it a possibility to get CJ because he shredded the field last year and is a future hall-of-famer. I had AP and CJ as starters and ended up winning most of my games because of them. In the keepers, don't have so many QBs. I did this and it comes back to bite until that is solved. Take Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers out of that equation. It helps there because instead of being spread out in that positon (which hurts your team), you have 2 smashmouth QBs at postion. They don't get hurt often either. RBs, it would be good to get rid of Adrian Foster because with the Texans so good with the pass they won't run as much. with your 3rd and 5th round picks, get Andre Johnson and possibly Peyton Hillis. In this position you have a great WR and same with RB. Best RBs untaken would be Ronnie Brown, great with the Wildcat, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, great with up the middle running. Anxiety is caused by certain chemicals in the brain as well as other stressors. So think to yourself, before going to school or to the barber that it's not as stressful as your mind makes it out to be! People are just people! Most people don't judge anyways! I sometimes used to think that the whole world was stairing at me but then I started thinking that i'm not the center of everyones attention and most people don't care whatsoever about me walking through the door. Exercise and breathing exercises do help with stress as well by lowering stressful chemicals in the body! :)

I take Xanax. That works for me. My doctor had me on something else, and yes it helped the anxiety, but it relaxed me too much. It would make me fall asleep and i didn't want that. Xanax you take as needed, and it kicks in fast. Good look with everything, and just remember to breath!

If your not bothered about your credit don't pay any rent at all he will soon want you out. Take Your letter of eviction to the council saying you will be homeless on that date stated on your letter and by law they have to re house you. The only way the landlord can get you out will be to take you to court so this may take 3 months. If you really don't care about your credit then don't pay anything not even your utility bills because the landlord is responsible for these and he will have to pay them, it will be a little pay back for you for not having the proper facilities that anyone deserves. You should start by cutting back the amount of grain she's getting. As long as her hay isn't too rich, it should have a big impact on her weight, so she could probably have as much as she wants. Get out the lunge line and start by lunging her for half an hour 6 times a week. Don't work her too hard until she gets more in shape, you don't want her to get sore or become sour, so use good judgement with the amount of trotting and cantering you do. It also wouldn't hurt to hop on her bareback and take her for a little ride if she's safe to ride bareback. As she becomes more fit, start working her longer and harder, just try avoid over working her, and make sure she gets one or two days off a week to rest.

Okay. Well, I'm going to this fair thing this weekend, and I was wondering if any fellow yahoo answer-ers going help with the troubled outfit ideas... I know what shirt I'm wearing (it has the logo of the thing I'm going to on it) and I'm going shopping with my mom in about a half hour. My mom's pretty strict, so my shorts need to follow the fingertip rule (hands down on your sides, where you fingertip stops thats where the length of the shorts has to be) plus about a inch or so. Meditation. If you can block energy coming from other people, can you block energy coming out of you?

it does come with the territory of the skill of meditation. To be able to let the energy flow through you and if your smart enough to know how to direct that energy into productive forms can involve some blockage kind of like the energy that flows according to the binary in microchips. The way you let the energy flow through you can be either a yes or no thing so that the product is energy that is coordinated with what you want or need. But that takes some pretty responsible and mature meditation and very few are at such a level to really know how to do that effectively. No that is not true. We all do that in some way or another. We are all energy transformers and we all have an effect in and on reality. Some more and some less but never the less we all do it.

How do I get my uncles dog under control?

Recently my uncle had to move in with his 12 year old dog. She is still extremely energetic and most people even think she is a puppy still. I have known her ever since he got her and she has always been insane. She is socialized and acts the same way with other dogs, strangers, and people she knows. She looks nice, wags her tail, but you just touch her and she growls, or barks. She nips very often, she has never drawn blood, she just gets annoyed. She is extremely temperamental and has now attacked every dog in the house (my pit bull, my mom's 2 shih tzus.) what seems like randomly. And also my cat. I can't put her outside for long seeing as we live in Florida and it is too hot for her winter coat. She has never shown any sign of affection towards anyone of anything. Not even her owner. She even did this to the dog she had lived with her whole life but it died last year. I am the only one in the house not afraid to push her down onto her side when she snaps, and now I'm the only person that she doesn't stare at. She thinks she is dominant over everything, and she even barks at me when I am making her food because she wants it faster. I have handled a lot of dogs, but I am at my wits end with this one. I am tired of getting bit when I try to pet her, and growled and barked at in my own house by a dog who thinks she is princess of the dog world. How do I get this dog under control now.

I have major social anxiety. I was looking for something in my moms room and ran across Sertraline. I want to just pop a pill or two within a couple days. Yes, there are side effects like every other pill, and no the pills are not prescribed to me, but what if it works? Loss of color on top of my hand?

i have a spot that started as a little white spot on my hand about 4 years ago. over the years it has grown, not huge, but maybe the diamater of a dime. in the winter time, i dont have issues with it, but now that summer is here and i am outside, it seems to get burned on the outer edge. i was out in the sun golfing on tuesday, and on wendesday it was red on the outer part and has tiny bumps, it will itch sometimes. Also, on my left arm, i can see alot of red dots after being in the sun. Anyone have any idea what this is? I know its a loss of pigment, but could it be life threatning? thanks

Why am i having trouble reaching a meditative/blissful state?

i begun meditation 4 months ago, and i begun meditating 10 minutes everyday and slowly overtime i added time to it and now i can do it for 40 minutes. after a month, i begun to notice that i could get into a meditative state much faster than it would take me if I had done it once a week for an hour or hour in a half like i could feel more relaxed and more happier after the meditation. While meditating i sit in a posture with my back straight and cross legged and hands in lap I also listen to mantra music while i meditate which does help me concentrate, i used i repeat the mantra while i meditated for 20 minutes or so and i slowly reached the meditative or blissful state .I had noticed that i begun having some problems while i was meditating and i kept putting my head down because i had felt as if someone was going grab me by the neck and this i think was due to my anxiety and this was why i wanted to meditate so i could help fix this problem and this whole neck grabbing thoughts started after 2 months and now i haven't been able to get into a meditative state as i used to before.i also stopped repeating the mantra and it only made things worse because i had thoughts arising in my head. Now mostly every time i meditate i feel a little relaxed and i was wondering if this is a part of meditation, to feel relaxed afterwards even though ihaven'tt reached that blissful or meditative state and why are these thoughtsinterruptingg me after 4 months of meditation p.s i had begun repeating mantra a few days ago and i meditate 2 a day 30-40 minutes for each session.

Tips to avoid depression?

I have a similar situation as you. I don't want to be on meds or counselling either. Believe it or not exercise has helped me regain control and also prevent depression from coming back. It balanced the receptors in my brain through the endorphin releases. Try and see if you can do 30 mins of ur fav cardio activity 3-5 times a week. It worked for me. :) there's hope. Never stop hoping. Ull get through this.

Car starting problems?

Alright, I have a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that won't start. It had been sitting all winter, but before that, I had the battery replaced because it wouldn't start then. I had someone look at it with a tester and they said it has a charge, but sometimes a battery can go bad and not start a car. Looking back, that doesn't make sense, but whatever, too late now. Anyways, I tried jumping it and the first time the lights and everything went on, but it wouldn't work so I gave up and tried it another day. When I tried the second time the lights wouldn't go on at all. Could the battery just be so dead it either needs to be replaced, or charged, rather than jumped?

Why can't I lose weight?

I am a 20 year old runner and I have been trying to lose the weight I have gained. I was 125 before winter and 132 by spring break (too much snacking during winter break). I run 3-4 days a week, alternating intervals and 5-6 mile runs. I also do strength training 2-3 times a week and yoga once a week. I am currently eating between 1300 and 1500 calories a day. No matter what I do, my waist and thigh measurements are not going back down. I have tried monitoring my intake with weight watchers but it hasn't been working like it used to. Am I working out too much? Am I eating the right amount? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Meditation can be very relaxing for anyone, including people with autism. It may alleviate anxiety and stress, which can help with certain symptoms. For example, if I'm relaxed I can usually deal with sudden changes pretty well, but if I'm anxious I can't. For people with high levels of anxiety, meditation and other relaxation techniques can be very helpful. But like anything, it is not helpful for *everyone* with an autism spectrum disorder.

I loved it. It was full of detail, which I personally think is important in a good story. And you have a perfect amount of it. Love the rhetorical question for the opening, I think that makes the reader want to keep on reading and find out the answer. It seems quite dark and morbid, which I assume is what you were going for? Really do you think they would continue to prescribe a medication that did not help? anti depressants help 9 out of 10 people who take them.... occasionally they do not help someone but on the whole they can be life changers. Obviously the natural way is not working for you...maybe give the anti depressants a chance and if on the off chance they do not work you can always stop taking them.

I Sweat a lot. Is there something wrong with me?

I live in Texas and i know its already hot but for some reason I sweat a WHOLE lot. Like walking from my car to the store i brake out in a bad sweat. This has been going on for almost my entire life. I am even sweating when its winter and the temperatures are in the 50s or 40s. I know that its probably " in my genes to sweat" but i sweat way too much for a normal person. How do I explain whats happening to me in meditation (please Help)?

I am new to meditation and lucid dreaming and am trying to learn about how all of it works. I only got into because i noticed i have an ability that nobody else has. I don"t even know how to look this up. Ive always been able to control my energy (since age 12). now i can send my energy almost on command to where ever i want. but when i do, which ever part i send it to the hair raises on that part (even if i do my whole body). But what this has lead me to do is even greater. Now anytime you orgasm you get this amazing feeling but now imagine this feeling in every square millimeter of your body.i have only done it 3 times and it required 2 things to do it. the first time i was high on cannabis, then experimenting with (cough syrup..... never did it again and everyone shouldn't do it either) and the 3rd again with cannabis. the second requirement was music. in the meditation i used the sounds of the songs to bring me to this level but only under extreme notes that were hit. it felt like i was riding the sound waves all the way up and once this feeling kicks in you cant move, in fact you will collapse wherever you are. the 3rd time i was gunna fall face first on my keyboard so i snapped myself out of it and had an incredible sensation in my tailbone like it was leftover energy just swirling around. i can send energy through my hands and feet and thought maybe i could send that excess energy out but i haven't been able to do it since. can someone please explain this. i am actually looking for a guide to show me what i am ignorant to. im sick of getting laughed at when i ask for help on this subject and could really use alot of help. i have way too many questions to ask and many experiences to share. you can email me at brutus56@gmail.com if anyone is interested. this is all so crazy and its very hard to figure it out on my own.

Okay, so I work at a grocery store and whenever we close I have to condition/straighten the frozen and diary section. As you may or may not know, this section is COLDDDD!!! Husband lies about money with no income of his own. HELP!!?

I had a stroke a couple of years ago and it messed up he left side of my body, I can't drive, walk,work or anything else I used to do. My husband runs the errands for the house now (yes, unemployed). He has access to my bank card because if we need something he goes and gets it, etc... Well, he also gets him a bottle when he does these errands, he will admit he's an alcoholic without hesitation. Before my incident we did not have this problem. I have no one to talk to about this or get advice because my situation is different. i.e.-I can't just pack my things and move, the left side of my body doesn't work. Even if I did get my stuff packed, who would drive me and my things to my new place? I'm NOT talking divorce because we DO love each other VERY much. I did think about separating for a while though. How to meditate properly?

There are a whole lot of ways to meditate. Different traditions, different methods, etc. The simplest way I know is to sit somewhere comfortable and quiet. Breathe in for a count of five, tense your abdominal muscles, hold the breath for five seconds, and breathe out for five. Repeat. You can increase your count as you get more comfortable. I can get up to about twenty in, twenty hold, twenty out, but only with a lot of work. While you're at it, don't try to think. Don't try not to think. If a thought comes, don't push it away, just let it drift by. Weird stuff tends to come to mind when you're being quiet and processing oxygen and such differently than usual. There's not much point in fighting that or you'll just stress yourself out. Just let your brain work and focus on getting the breathing right. The rest will come.

Have you been referred to a sleep specialist? I have heard of people with extreme insomnia "re-training" their sleeping patterns by staying in their room between 11pm and 6am and sleeping (if possible) then staying out of their rooms any other time. Another thing you could do is think about your sleeping environment. I know it sounds silly, but maybe re-arranging the furniture in your room, or re-painting or redecorating it as you may have formed a negative association unconsciously with your surroundings. Do you find it easier sleeping in other places? I don't think sedatives would help you long term as it doesn't sound like a simple problem that can be treated with short-term solutions. I don't think any over the counter things would help either, in the UK you can only get sedating antihistamines which are only supposed to be for short term use anyway. You can buy some herbal things which contain ingredients such as Valerian which you could have a try, but make sure you have a chat with your doctor or pharmacist first to check they are suitable. But it really sounds like you need specialist help, especially as you've had the problem for so long and from such a young age. Hope this helps

I meditated earlier today and I felt this kind of tingling, crawling sensation over very small areas of my body, mostly in my finger tips. I thought it was a bug, but there was nothing there. I have experienced involuntary movement in my fingers before, but never this strange feeling.

I feel like my older sister always outdresses me?

Alright so I am 15 and my sister is 20. I am one of those people that LOVES fashion and wants to be a fashion designer and everything. So anyway, I am usually the one around town and in school that is always best-dressed and people tell me that all the time. (I am NOT being conceited, I am just telling you other people's opinions.) But when my sister comes home, I just get panicky with everything I wear. And its also with my future-sister in law (Will become my sister-in-law in like 5 days) and we are helping her out with her wedding and everything, and she is 24 and she always looks great so I want to look really good on these days. I just feel like they always outshine me. and they don't even try to. Like today, we are going on an 8 hour car trip to get to the destination of the wedding and I am in sweats and a t-shirt because its just a car ride, and my sister comes downstairs in these really cute capri running tights, and and cute t shirt and then over it a really cute plaid button up shirt with a cute necklace and her hair is curled. Like what?! We are just going in the car! And everytime she comes home from college she has like a gazzillion new shoes and outfits with her. I do'nt have a job, I just babysit and dog walk and thats not that much money so like I usually have to buy my own clothes because my mom believes it gives me appreciation for money. So yeah, I just feel like she outshines me. And we both shop and the same stores like charlotte russe and forever 21 and american eagle and maurices and gap, but still I just can never top her outfits. She is perfect. And people are always like "oh! your sister is so pretty!" when she is around and when its only me they are then like "oh your so pretty!" I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND! does anyone else feel this way with their older sisters? And it doesn't help that out of the four kids she is the favorite. Has any one ever had a siberian husky with short and thinner fur?

My siberian husky has short fur on sides and alittle long down back. But now she is blowing her coat and its alittle worst because I think this is her summer coat. Good diet for me?!?! Cant lose the weight that I regained..?

I am 5'4'' and 17 years old. Two years ago I was about 150 lbs but then I lost 35 lbs so I was about 115. Over this last winter I gained about 10 pounds and I've been trying to lose atleast that weight if not more. Ive stayed the same weight for the last three months but cant seem to lose it again. Ive tried everything- dieting and working out. I try to limit my calorie intake to under 1200 calories a day and I eat super healthy like rice, oatmeal, salads, veggy burgers, and fruit smoothies etc. I also run between 2 and 8 miles every day depending on how I feel that day and I go on a bike trip atleast twice a week. All my friends seem to do nothing and eat tons and somehow manage to stay super skinny. I know I am not technically overweight but I don't feel as thin and in shape as I would like to and I would ideally like to be about 105 lbs. HELP! What do I do?? miracle diet anyone?

I am trying to glue canvas to glass that withstands high heat, what is my best choice.?

Im trying to glue the canvas back to the glass in my car. I used heavy duty glue but the heat was too much. Halo Reach Winter Contingency "Players failed to Load Content".?

A Month or Two ago i beated halo reach. I decided to go for the a monument to all your sins achievement when it said "players failed to load content" on the first mission. I checked if oni:sword base would do the same, but it loaded properly. I just got the legendary edition back in february and the disc has no scratches.i also checked if nightfall would fail, but it also loaded perfectly. All of the missions load fully except winter contingency. Is there any way to fix this?

How do I deal with this arizona heat?

Well I live in phoenix, arizona and it's so hot! It gets above 115 degrees and I'm pretty sure it'll get hotter. I don't think people were made for this weather. :/ and my family isn't that wealthy so our air conditioner can't be that high. Feel lost, hopeless, rejected, im suicidal.. this is really my last straw?

My son's father thinks it's my fault that our son is gay?

My son's father walked out on me when he found out I was pregnant and it's only within the past 2 years that he's decided to put in a appearance. He has recently found out our son, Maurice, is gay after he saw him hug his boyfriend. I personally don't think it's a big deal that he likes boys, my "baby daddy" on the other hand is a different story. He believes that since our son didn't grow up with a male figure in the house it has caused him to be gay. He also told me it's partially my fault "for not making him do things normal boys do." He has been attempting to spend more time with him (my guess is that he thinks it will make him "turn" straight) but Maurice wants nothing to do with him. Cloths (Since it was winter, and he was shaved), perfume and waterless dog shampoo because he smells, hair brushes, dog mints, etc. Because I figured she'd want to have fun playing with him and dressing him up. Because its cute. But I hardly even dress him up in winter. Only when we go on walks and there's snow out. Well I think she got a little to attached to him, and now wants a pomeranian to. She says she's going to buy her dog all these cloths, booties, a stroller (wtf?), a fancy dog bed, and all these things...I mean yea a dog bed is fine, and winter cloths but she plans on buying her dog bikini's, and SUMMER outfits with matching shoes and then pushing her around in a stroller....I don't think she realizes how much work Pomeranian are. For one most of them are snappish and don't like many people...so she won't be showing her dog off as much as she thinks. I bought Sparky (my dog) as an adult so he was VERY well socialized and potty trained...and in her family they have a chihuahua and that thing HATES people so I'm afraid her dog will be the same, and that she'll get fed up with it barking because she already yells at her dog for it. Bees or wasps in wall?

I live in a wooden house and my room is on the second floor. During the day I can hear a crackling and buzzing noise. I presume it is bees or wasps of some kind due to research, but I'm not entirely sure what to do about it.
