Good winter vacation ideas?

Yes, i know we are in the middle of summer, but it wil be over before we know it haha.. But I am already thinking of planning a winter trip for around Thanksgiving-Christmas time(depending on when I can get off)... Continental US, Abroad, Hawaii, is fine.. I definitely prefer a nice warm, beachy spot. I am just taking suggestions from travelers here who have travelled around this time, and which part of the world is the best/nicest to travel around the late November-Early January months?! I am from NYC if that helps(travel duration time).. Thanks in advance!
